Are There More Victims? Colonie Man Accused Of Meeting '14-Year-Old' For Sex, Police Seek Tips

Police in the region say there may be more victims out there after a man was arrested for allegedly traveling to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old for sex.

Albany County resident Blair Paczkowski, age 47, of Colonie, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 9, following an investigation by State Police’s Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Investigators determined that Paczkowski had made plans to drive to an agreed location in Colonie in order to meet the purported teen for “sexual exploitation,” police said.

He was taken into custody after arriving at the agreed location, according to police.

Paczkowski was arraigned at the Colonie Town Court on two counts of attempted criminal sex act and attempted disseminating indecent material to minors.

He was ordered held at the Albany County jail on $10,000 bond ahead of his next court appearance.
